Rainwater Harvesting System - Chandler UMC

In April 2017 the Warrick County assisted Mrs. Scherle's 3rd Grade class at Tennyson Elementary in establishing a pollinator plot. A 4' x 20' raised bed was planted with columbine, fox glove beard tongue, milkweed, blue wild indigo, yellow coneflower, bee balm, aster, goldenrod, and others.  Conservation efforts such as pollinator habitat restoration have been initiated around the country in an effort to combat declining pollinator populations, one such being the Monarch butterfly. For more information on establishing a pollinator plot at your home, school, or other location contact Andrew at andrew.p.smith@in.nacdnet.net or 812-897-2840 ext. 3.
