FAQs
Q: Can I register my child the day-of when I drop them off?
A: No, you MUST register your child through our link BEFORE the day of the camp. Due to changes in insurance policies we CANNOT accept "walk-in" registrations or otherwise unregistered children.
Q: What do the kids need to bring?
A: Each child will need to bring a lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. Be sure that they are wearing appropriate clothes for the day; including shoes that are appropriate for short trail walks! We will provide water to refill bottles as well as snacks throughout the day.
Q: What if my child can only attend one of the months?
A: That is okay! You can sign up for one, two, or all three months. We highly recommend coming to get to know us and the other kids that join!
Q: Can I go to all of the locations?
A: The program material is the same each day in that same month, so we ask that your child only attends one date each month. However, if you wish to attend the July date in Lynnville and the August date in Tennyson, you are welcome to do so, just be sure to register them for the appropriate location.
Q: Do parents have to stay for the program?
A: Nope! Just pick up your kids at the time in which the program ends.
Q: The camp location I want to sign-up for is full. Can my child still attend?
A: Unfortunately, due to insurance policies and available materials we cannot accept "walk-in's" the day of the camp. If the camp you are trying to sign-up for is full, you are welcome to try one of the other parks that has availability!
Q: I registered my child for one or more days that they can no longer attend. Do I need to call beforehand?
A: Yes! Due to the large number of "no-shows" that we have had in the past and due to the maximum limit of kids that can sign up for any given park, you MUST call by at least the morning-of the camp to let us know that you will be absent. If we do not receive a call or email by the morning-of and are not present for your registered camp, you may lose the ability to sign-up for any future months that year.
