The National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) is holding its annual poster & photo contest for students!
The NACD Poster Contest provides students from kindergarten through 12th grade a chance to have their art displayed nationally. Winning posters reflect the annual NACD Stewardship theme and highlight the work of conservation districts and their associations in protecting and enhancing natural resources. The contest starts locally, advances to state levels, then national. National winners receive recognition at NACD’s annual meeting. The Photo contest does not occur at district and state levels, so your photos can be directly uploaded to the NACD website. Please make sure to follow all instructions when uploading each picture. This year's theme is "Home is Where the Habitat is", which highlights the essential role of both natural and managed habitats in our conservation efforts. Below are the contest rules and the application form that needs to be attached to the back of your poster and uploaded with each picture you submit. Both forms can be downloaded using the buttons at the bottom of the page. For more information on the NACD Poster Contest, visit their website at: https://www.nacdnet.org/contests/
Please submit or bring in your finished poster with a filled-out application taped to the back to the Warrick SWCD office.
